CANNED TUNA HF offers tuna in two piece TFS lacquered cans with plain and Easy Open Ends (EOE) in various styles like solid and chunk in different media such as oil and brine. In addition, MAANDHOOMAS, our domestic brand offers ‘Chilli Plus’ pack, which gives a unique hot taste and ‘Value Pack’ with dark meat, which caters specific customer needs. The raw material for canned tuna is carefully selected, butchered, pre-cooked, cleaned to remove skin, dark meat & bones, packed in cans with oil or brine, hermetically sealed and heat processed by the application of saturated steam to attain commercial sterility. Quality & safety of the product is ensured at every stage in the process by HACCP system. Raw material Skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) and Yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares ). The fish is caught by traditional and environmentally friendly ‘Dolphin Safe’ methods of fishing such as pole & line. Ingredients Potable water, food grade salt and refined sunflower oil. Preservatives or food additives are not used.
